The online ECBA™ Training Course will be delivered through the following methods:

To apply for the ECBA exam, you don’t need any prior experience. However, you must complete at least 21 hours of professional training that has been approved or endorsed by the IIBA.

The following are the prerequisites for the ECBA exam:

  • Completion of a minimum of 21 hours of business analysis education within the last four years.
  • Compliance with the ECBA Code of Conduct.

ECBA Exam Details:

Format: The ECBA™ certification exam is a 1-hour competency-based exam consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions. It is aligned to the BABOK® Guide Version 3.

Delivery Method: The exam is delivered online by PSI and requires a desktop or laptop computer with a working webcam and microphone.

Prerequisites: To take the ECBA exam, candidates must have completed a minimum of 21 hours of professional training endorsed by the IIBA, and must comply with the ECBA Code of Conduct.
